A better TV wall starts with careful planning

Mounting a TV is not just about getting it on the wall. The height, stud layout, viewing angle, mount type, cable path, soundbar, and furniture all affect the finished room. I take the time to get those details right before drilling.

TV height, furniture alignment, and cable routing all matter when the wall is a focal point in the room.

Fireplace and large-screen mounting

Large TVs and fireplace walls require extra attention to structure, heat, viewing height, and the hardware that carries the weight.

A straightforward mounting process

01 · Send a photo

Text or email the TV size, mount, wall, furniture, and any cable or soundbar plans.

02 · Plan the placement

We confirm the height, wall conditions, mount type, and anything that needs to be purchased first.

03 · Mount securely

I locate the structure, install the mount with appropriate hardware, and check alignment before hanging the TV.

04 · Finish the setup

We connect the TV, manage visible cables as planned, test the setup, and leave the room clean.

Clear TV mounting pricing

Standard TV mounting is billed at $60 per hour; most straightforward drywall mounts take about 60–90 minutes. Fireplace, masonry, cable-concealment, and unusually large or high mounts may take more time. Send a photo first and I’ll give you a realistic estimate.

Standard mounting

$60/hour

For typical home mounting, including planning, stud installation, level checks, and a clean finish. You can provide the TV and mount, or I can help you choose what is needed.

For 65-inch and larger TVs: Plan on two to three hours to fully assess the safest placement and mounting method. Someone will need to be available to help lift the TV into place. I can mount TVs up to 45 inches by myself, but an extra set of hands is always appreciated at that size.

UofA Bear Down Special

$100 flat

For TVs up to 45 inches in apartments or student housing. Fireplace and unusually high placements may need a separate estimate.

* Why $100 if it only takes an hour? Wildcats. I do not nickel-and-dime students for campus parking, I can usually schedule within a day or two, and unlike the Nerd Squad, I will not charge you $250 to mount a 32-inch TV two weeks from now.

Common questions

Do I need to provide the TV mount?

You can provide it, or I can help you select one. Fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts all have different wall, weight, and viewing considerations.

Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?

Yes. Fireplace walls often require more planning because of blocking, masonry, heat, viewing height, and cable routing. I will assess the wall before drilling.

What if the studs are not where I want the TV?

I find the nearest suitable structure and explain the safe options. Sometimes placement changes slightly; other times a larger mount or mounting board is the right way to get the position you want.

Can you hide the cables?

When the wall construction and access allow it, cables can be routed through the wall. Paintable raceways are a clean alternative when in-wall routing is not practical.

Do you work in apartments?

Yes. I frequently help apartment and student-housing residents. Check your lease or property rules first, and I can also help patch mounting holes when it is time to move.

Ready to get the TV off the stand?

Send the TV size, a photo of the wall, and any mount or cable plans. I’ll help you turn it into a secure, clean setup.
