Built for projects that are too much for one person
Some furniture is simple. Some arrives in several heavy boxes with hundreds of parts, tight tolerances, and no good way to fake the difficult steps. I help with the second kind—large assemblies where careful preparation and a second set of hands make the difference.

Large sauna assembly
Meet Sean, my 18-year-old assistant. Sean and I assembled and carried in this sauna piece by piece. Sean is a senior at Catalina Foothills High School and the oldest son of my best friend’s neighbor. His minivan is worth its weight in gold when it comes to hauling off large amounts of cardboard, and he’s become a shrewd negotiator in the waste-removal and parts delivery game.

Home gym equipment
Large exercise systems require careful sequencing, secure connections, room to work, and a safe final check before they are ready to use.
“Drew did a great job assembling our new smith machine. He was very professional, respectful, and went above and beyond our expectations.”Grace L. · June 5, 2026

Closet systems
“We had an excellent experience! He was incredibly flexible and professional. His commitment to quality and customer satisfaction really stood out. The finished closet looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality work! Thanks, Drew!”Laura Strangio · July 2026

A straightforward assembly process
Send photos of the boxes, product link, room, and any stairs or tight access points.
I estimate the time, number of people, tools, and floor space the project needs.
I sort the hardware, follow the sequence, level the finished piece, and handle heavy sections safely.
We place the furniture where you want it, check doors and drawers, and clean up the work area.
Simple hourly pricing
Furniture assembly is typically billed at $60 per hour. Larger or unusually heavy projects may need an assistant or more than one visit. Send photos before booking and I’ll give you a realistic time estimate.
Common questions
Do you assemble furniture from any brand?
Yes. The brand matters less than the size, condition of the parts, and complexity of the instructions. Send the product link or photos so I can prepare.
What if the piece is too large for one person?
We plan for it. I can bring an assistant for heavy or awkward assemblies and coordinate the safest way to move the finished piece into position.
Can you anchor tall furniture?
Yes. Wall anchoring is available for wardrobes, bookcases, dressers, and other tip-prone furniture when the wall and hardware are suitable.
What if parts are missing?
I have plenty of extra parts and can help you work with customer support to get missing items shipped from the manufacturer. I’ll identify what’s missing and help you decide whether to pause or continue with the safe portions of the project.
Have a large furniture project?
Send photos and a product link. I’ll help you figure out the people, time, and plan needed to get it built correctly.
