These are the common straight-swap projects I can help with when the existing equipment and wiring are appropriate:
Arizona’s exemption applies only to casual or minor projects with a total price below $1,000, including labor and materials, and no local permit requirement.
Rate: $80 per hour for qualifying handyman-scope electrical work. Fully insured.
I do not run new wiring, add circuits, relocate switches or outlets, perform panel work, or take on a project requiring a permit. I also do not install or repair hardwired or interconnected fire-safety equipment. Those are licensed-electrician projects, regardless of cost. If your project falls outside this scope, I’ll refer you to a licensed electrician.
Arizona’s handyman exemption is a statutory exemption, not a handyman license. Tucson Home Repair Pro is not a licensed contractor. Separately, Unepic Networks is actively pursuing an Arizona ROC CR-67 low-voltage license for networking, security-camera, and audio/video wiring beyond this handyman scope.
