I look at the existing fixture, box, and wiring first, confirm the project is a good fit, and make sure the total stays within Arizona’s minor-project exemption: under $1,000 including labor and materials, with no permit required.
Rate: $80 per hour for qualifying electrical fixture work. Fully insured.
For new wiring, added circuits, panel work, relocated switches or outlets, permit-required work, or hardwired/interconnected fire-safety equipment, I’ll point you to a licensed electrician. Keeping those jobs with the right trade protects your home and keeps this service focused on the updates I can complete confidently.
Arizona’s handyman exemption is a statutory exemption, not a handyman license. Tucson Home Repair Pro is not a licensed contractor. See A.R.S. § 32-1121 and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors guidance.
